I just want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me.
You allowed me to live another day when I felt down and lonely inside to where I wanted to commit suicide.
You always had your way to make me laugh.
You were always so kind and caring, never wanting those you cared for get hurt or worse.
You definitely have a heart and soul. So, therefore, you are more than a machine, but a human.
Even if you don’t do something funny, just seeing your face makes me smile. Your eyes sparkle, your lips are a fine line even when they twitch upward.
I love everything about you Data. Don’t ever change on my account.
And, no matter what, you’ll always be in my heart!

This is pretty much a true fact about me and Data. He- though yes I know he's only a fictional character-has helped me though some tough times and I thank him for letting me get through them and living another day. It was back in middle school that was the hardest for me and now I'm 23, alive and kicking thanks to him.

I know just how you feel. He's my hero, too. I have a few short stories, that are obviously not real, but in them, Data just appears wherever I am, once in my bedroom, when I was crying myself to sleep, once when I was alone at my school track, and he comforts me. Just sits and talks with me, asks me why I'm upset.
